What you will learn
You will study the core subjects that keep a business running smoothly. Classes cover accounting, marketing, organisational behaviour, and business law. You will practice writing professional reports, giving presentations, and analysing financial data. The program is designed so you can apply what you learn in your current job or prepare for a new career path. You will work on group projects that mirror real workplace challenges, giving you practical experience before you graduate.
How the program runs
This is a part-time program delivered at the Mercer Street Campus. Classes are held in the evenings and on weekends so you can keep your work schedule. You will complete the program in three years, which equals six terms. The program does not include a co-op work term. You will take the same courses as the full-time Business Administration program, but spread them out over more terms. This flexible schedule means you can progress at a steady pace without taking a full course load each term. Classes take place in the Mill Building, where you will have access to modern computer labs and collaborative study spaces.
Admission
To join this program, you need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or you must be a mature student (19 or older by the start of classes). You must have completed Grade 12 English at the college or university preparation level with a minimum grade of 60%. If you are an international applicant, you must also provide proof of English proficiency through an accepted test or equivalent coursework. If you need help meeting these prerequisites, the Academic Upgrading centre offers courses to help you prepare. You can also apply for a fee waiver if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Tuition and fees
Domestic tuition is $3,620 per year (two terms) for the 2026–27 academic year. You will also pay ancillary fees of $1,125 per year for student services, library access, and campus facilities. If you need to pay by term, you can set up a payment plan through Student Financial Aid. International students pay $17,600 per year for tuition, plus the same ancillary fees.
After you graduate
Graduates of this program are prepared for supervisory and administrative roles across many industries. You will have the skills to manage office operations, coordinate projects, or support senior management. The diploma also meets the transfer requirements for the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Business — Accounting at Wrenford Polytechnic, or similar business degrees at other universities. You can use your Wrenford Polytechnic transcript to apply for transfer credit at other institutions.
How to apply
Domestic students apply through the provincial college application service. Part-time applicants can also register directly through Continuing Education. International students must use the polytechnic's own application form. You can upload your transcripts and documents in myWrenford once you receive your applicant account.
