How to apply

Start your application

Applying to Wrenford Polytechnic is straightforward. We accept applications from students across Ontario and from around the world. Follow these steps to complete your application for a certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, or applied bachelor's degree.

1. Choose your program

Use our program finder to browse our programs. You can filter by credential type, delivery mode, and campus. If you are not sure which program is right for you, check the frequently asked questions or contact us directly.

2. Check the requirements

Most programs require an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent. Some programs, like our engineering-technology programs, require Grade 12 math (C or U) with a minimum grade of 60%. If you do not have an OSSD, you may still apply as a mature student (19 or older by the start of classes). Read the mature student admission page for details.

3. Submit your application

Domestic applicants apply through the provincial college application service. You will create an account and fill out the online form. International applicants apply directly on the Wrenford Polytechnic application form. Part-time and Continuing Education students register directly through our continuing education portal.

4. Pay the application fee

There is a non-refundable application fee when you submit your form. If you cannot afford the fee, you can apply for an application fee waiver through the provincial service or on our website. You will need to provide proof of financial need.

5. Upload your documents

Once you submit your application, you will receive instructions to upload your transcripts and other required documents in myWrenford. Make sure you upload clear scans of your documents before the deadline. You can check the status of your application in the portal at any time.

Important dates

The equal consideration date is March 1, 2027. Applying by this date ensures your application is reviewed alongside all others for the fall term. Classes start on September 8, 2026, and we continue to accept applications until spaces are filled.
