What is the application fee?
Domestic applicants pay $40 when they submit through the provincial college application service. International applicants pay $100 on the polytechnic's own form. These fees cover the initial review of your documents. If the cost is a barrier, you can request a fee waiver before you apply.
How many programs can I apply to?
You can list one program choice per application. If you are not qualified for your first choice, or the program is full, you will be placed on a waitlist. You can then use the student portal to select an alternate choice.
When is the deadline?
The equal consideration date for the fall term is March 1, 2027. Applications are accepted for fall, winter, and spring/summer terms. Deadlines for other intakes are listed on the Admissions page. Apply early to secure a seat and plan your finances.
How do I apply?
Domestic full-time applicants apply through the provincial college application service. Part-time applicants and those looking at Continuing Education courses register directly. International applicants apply on the polytechnic's own form. You will upload your academic history and pay the application fee online. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
What are the admission requirements?
You need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or you must be a mature student (19 or older by the start of classes). Engineering-technology programs require Grade 12 math (C or U) with a minimum grade of 60%. Most programs also require Grade 12 English (C or U), minimum 60%. International applicants must show English proficiency. See the Admission requirements page for program-specific details.
I didn't get in. Can I try again?
If a program is full, you may be placed on the Program capacity waitlist. You can reapply for a future term once you meet the requirements. You can only make one program change per academic year after you enrol.
