Courses

What you will learn

This program gives you the exact science and math credits that health programs require for admission. You will build a strong foundation in calculus, biostatistics, chemistry, physics and thermodynamics. You will also learn how to communicate clearly in health settings and explore topics that support your own health and wellness. The courses are designed to match the first-year requirements of Wrenford Polytechnic health diplomas and certificates.

You will work in labs and classrooms on the Benchlands Campus. The schedule is set for full-time study, so you can focus on your coursework and prepare your application materials at the same time. You will leave with a complete set of first-year credits and a clear path toward your chosen health career.

How the program runs

The certificate runs for one academic year, divided into two terms. Classes are delivered full-time on the Benchlands Campus. You will take eight courses across the fall and winter terms. The program starts in September or January, so you can choose the intake that fits your schedule. All courses are taught by faculty from the School of Computing & Academic Studies and the School of Health Sciences, giving you direct access to instructors who know health program requirements.
