Who can participate
You must be enrolled in a program that includes a co-op work term. Our programs that offer co-op include three paid work terms. If you are in a four-year applied bachelor's degree, you will complete one 14-week placement. You can apply for a co-op work term as soon as you have completed the required courses for your program. You do not need to be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to participate.
Academic and conduct standing
To take part in a co-op work term, you must be in good academic and conduct standing. You need a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. If you are on academic probation or have an open conduct file, you cannot start a work term until the issue is resolved. You must also have a valid Class G driver's licence if your program requires it. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the workplace.
