Welcome to the School of Business & Media
You will find your next step in business, marketing, or digital media here. Our programs prepare you for careers in finance, public relations, graphic design, and video production. You learn by doing, using the latest tools and software in our downtown studios and classrooms. The school is located on the Mercer Street Campus, right in the heart of the city.
Our departments
The school is home to three departments. Each one focuses on a specific area of business or media, and each one connects you with industry professionals and current practices.
- Accounting & Finance. You will study financial reporting, taxation, and business strategy. The department is led by chair Graham Whitcombe.
- Marketing & Communication. You will learn how to build brand strategies, write press releases, and manage public relations campaigns. The department is led by chair Lucía Ferrante.
- Digital Media & Design. You will create visual content, design interactive media, and produce video projects. The department is led by chair Theo Marchetti.
What you will study
You can choose from certificates, diplomas, graduate certificates, and applied bachelor's degrees. Programs cover everything from basic accounting principles to advanced financial planning, marketing management, and graphic design. You may also study public relations and communications, or video and broadcast production. Some programs are full-time, while others are available part-time or online. You can start in September, January, or May, depending on the program. Co-op options are available in selected programs, giving you real work experience before you graduate.
Plan your visit
The school is located on the Mercer Street Campus. You can find our offices and classrooms in the Mill Building. The campus is in the downtown area, just steps from the Downtown Transit Terminal. There is no student parking on campus, but you can use the municipal parking lots nearby.
