Summary

A department on the Mercer Street Campus that leads the Graphic & Interactive Design and Video & Broadcast Production programs under Chair Theo Marchetti.

About the department

Welcome to the Digital Media & Design department at Wrenford Polytechnic. You will find a creative and practical space where technology meets visual storytelling. Under the direction of Chair Theo Marchetti, our faculty help you build professional-grade skills in graphic design, interactive media, and video production. You learn how to plan, create, and deliver digital content that works for businesses and communities.

Programs

Our department supports two full-time programs that blend design principles with hands-on studio work. In Graphic & Interactive Design, you develop visual identities, user interfaces, and digital layouts. In Video & Broadcast Production, you learn camera operation, editing, sound design, and on-air presentation. Both programs give you a portfolio you can take to work.

Facilities and labs

You train in the Market Square Studios on our Mercer Street Campus. The building houses dedicated design labs, editing workstations, and a professional sound stage. You use industry-standard software to create animations, motion graphics, and broadcast-ready video. The open studio layout lets you collaborate with classmates and faculty while you work on real projects.

Industry placements and co-op

We connect you with local employers through work placements and industry projects. You build a professional mindset by meeting deadlines, taking feedback, and communicating with clients. Our faculty and Co-op & Career Services staff help you secure placements in design agencies, media companies, and in-house creative teams.
