What you can do
Book a career appointment to schedule one-on-one sessions with career advisors. You can get help with job search strategy, interview preparation, resume reviews, and planning your next steps after graduation. These sessions are designed to give you practical advice tailored to your program and career goals.
Who it is for
This service is for all registered Wrenford Polytechnic students. Whether you are looking for a co-op work term, a part-time job on campus, or a full-time role in your field, a career advisor can help you build the skills you need. Graduate students and alumni may also book sessions once they have completed their studies.
How to book your appointment
You can book your appointment through the myWrenford student portal. Follow these steps:
- Log in to myWrenford with your student credentials.
- Click the Services tab and select Co-op & Career Services.
- Choose Book an appointment from the dropdown menu.
- Select the type of session you need, such as job search strategy or interview preparation.
- Pick a date and time from the available slots.
- Fill in the short form with your program and any specific questions you want to cover.
- Click Confirm to receive an email receipt with your appointment details.
You can also visit the Co-op & Career Services office on the Benchlands Campus for walk-in advice during business hours, but booking ahead guarantees your spot.
Fees and deadlines
There is no fee to book a career appointment. All sessions are covered by your student fees.
Please book your appointment at least 48 hours before your preferred time. This gives the advisor enough time to review your profile and prepare relevant resources. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please update your booking in myWrenford at least 24 hours in advance. Unannounced no-shows may affect your ability to book future sessions.
During busy periods, such as recruitment season or before co-op work term start dates, slots fill up quickly. We recommend booking as early as possible. If no times work for you, you can join the waiting list in myWrenford, and you will be notified if a slot opens up.
