Residence fees and room rates

Living on campus puts you steps away from your classes, the library, and student life. Wrenford Polytechnic offers two residence buildings on the Benchlands Campus: Larch House and Ashgrove House. The fees listed below cover the 2026–27 academic year. All prices include utilities and high-speed internet.

$7,950 per academic year (traditional room, Larch House).

Students who prefer a private suite with shared common areas can choose Ashgrove House. The four-bedroom suite rate is $9,100 per academic year. Both buildings are open to domestic and international students enrolled in full-time programs.

Meal plans

Residence life at Wrenford Polytechnic includes access to campus food services. The meal plan cost is $4,600 per year. A meal plan is mandatory for students living in Larch House. Students in Ashgrove House can choose to add a meal plan or use a declining balance account at the food hall in the Student Union Building.

How to apply

Residence applications open on February 1, 2027. We recommend applying early, as rooms fill up quickly. You do not need a confirmed program offer to apply for residence, but you must be enrolled in a full-time program to move in.

  1. Visit the Apply for residence page and click the link to the residence portal.
  2. Create a new account using your student ID or application number.
  3. Complete the housing application form and select your preferred building and room type.
  4. Submit the application and pay the required fee online.

Current residence students must reapply each year. Housing staff do not automatically renew your room. You can update your roommate requests in the portal under the Roommate matching request section.

Payment and deadlines

Once you receive your housing offer, you will get an invoice in your student portal. Tuition and residence fees are due on the dates listed in the academic calendar. Fall residence fees are due August 3, 2026, and winter fees are due December 7, 2026. If you need to defer your residence start date, contact the residence office before the term begins.
