Book a tutoring session

What peer tutoring offers

Peer tutoring connects you with fellow students who have successfully completed your courses. Tutors help you understand course material, prepare for exams, and improve your study habits. You get one-on-one support focused on your specific learning needs.

Who can use tutoring

Any current Wrenford Polytechnic student can book a session. Tutoring is free. You do not need a perfect grade to ask for help. If a topic feels confusing, a tutor can break it down and walk you through it.

How to book a session

Follow these steps to schedule your appointment:

  1. Visit the Learning Commons booking page.
  2. Sign in with your student ID and password.
  3. Select a day and time from the available slots. White slots are open for booking.
  4. Choose your preferred format. You can meet in person at the Falls Library & Learning Commons or join online through a video call.
  5. Fill out the short appointment form. Add your course code and the specific topic you want to review.
  6. Click Submit to confirm your booking.

What to bring to your appointment

Bring your course outline, assignment instructions, and any notes or drafts you have. If you are working on a group project, bring the rubric and your section of the work. Tutors guide you through problems rather than completing assignments for you. They help you build skills you can use in future courses.

Booking limits and changes

You may book up to two sessions per week during the term. If you need to cancel, please update your booking at least four hours before your appointment so another student can take your spot. You can also add yourself to a waiting list if your preferred time is full.
