What you can access
The Falls Library & Learning Commons provides a directory of subscription databases and digital resources available to students and staff. You can use these tools to find academic journal articles, e-books, industry reports, and multimedia materials for your courses. You can view the full list of databases sorted by subject area or browse the alphabetical listing.
Who can use these resources
All registered students, faculty, and staff at Wrenford Polytechnic can use these digital resources. Most databases work from anywhere in the world. A small number are restricted to on-campus use only due to publisher agreements.
How to log in from off campus
To comply with publisher contracts, the Library uses secure access software to control who can view these materials. When you try to access a database from home or off campus, you will see a sign-in page. Log in using your Wrenford Polytechnic email address and your student portal password. Once you are signed in, you can search and download materials just as you would from a library computer.
Creating a personal account
Many of the licensed databases let you create a personal account. With an account, you can save search results, organize folders, and download content for later use. Please note that the personal information you provide to these third-party sites may be stored on servers located outside of Canada. Canadian privacy laws do not cover the data you share with these external services. We suggest reading the privacy policy on each database site before you sign up.
