What we offer
The Health Centre provides basic medical care and health advice for Wrenford Polytechnic students. You can visit us for general check-ups, minor illnesses, injury assessments, and routine immunizations. Our team includes registered nurses and visiting physicians who are here to help you stay healthy while you study. All consultations are confidential and handled with care.
These services are available to all enrolled students at no extra cost. Your student fees cover the operation of the Health Centre, so there is no charge for a visit.
Who can book
Any student currently enrolled in a full-time or part-time program can book an appointment. You do not need a referral to see a nurse or physician. If you need mental health support, you can also visit Counselling & Wellness for free, confidential sessions.
How to book an appointment
You can schedule a visit in three ways:
- Call: Phone the Health Centre during business hours to speak with a receptionist.
- Walk-in: You can visit the clinic without an appointment, but please expect to wait while we attend to scheduled patients.
- Online: Log in to myWrenford and select the Health Centre booking option to choose a date and time that works for you.
What to bring
Please bring your student identification card and your provincial health card. If you have a prescription or a referral from another doctor, bring those documents as well. Arrive ten minutes early to complete any intake forms.
Hours and location
The clinic is open during the academic term on Health Centre hours. It is located on the Benchlands Campus. For more details on getting to campus, see Benchlands Campus.
Immunizations and travel health
We provide routine vaccinations and travel health advice. International students should review Immunization requirements to ensure you meet all entry and program standards before your first term.
