Program Description

Analysis and filtering of time-domain and frequency-domain electrical signals.

Course overview

This course explores the fundamental principles of electrical signal analysis. You will learn how to examine signals in both the time and frequency domains, using mathematical tools to understand their behaviour. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on practical applications, teaching you how to design and implement filters that isolate desired frequencies from unwanted noise.

You will work with laboratory equipment to measure signal characteristics and simulate circuit performance. By the end of the term, you will be able to process real-world electrical signals and apply these techniques to electronics and communication systems.
