Program Description
Introduction to programmable logic controllers and basic automation workflows.
About this course
This course introduces the principles of industrial automation, focusing on programmable logic controllers and basic system workflows. You will learn how to program, configure, and troubleshoot the hardware that powers modern manufacturing and processing plants. The curriculum covers ladder logic programming, sensor integration, and human-machine interface design.
Practical labs in the Tamarack Building give you hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment. You will build control circuits, write logic routines, and test automated sequences in a safe, supervised environment.
