Program Description

Designs logical structures for organizing and presenting information in digital and print media.

About this course

Information architecture is the art and science of organizing content so that users can find what they need and understand how it fits together. In this course, you will learn to design logical structures for both digital and print media. You will explore how to group content, create navigation systems, and develop metadata schemes that make information accessible and intuitive.

You will work on real-world scenarios, building sitemaps, taxonomies, and wireframes. The course emphasizes user-centred design principles and practical application. You will also learn to test your designs with users and refine them based on feedback. This course is designed for students who want to specialise in the structural side of technical communication.
