Preparing for orientation week
Orientation week is your chance to meet your instructors and get comfortable with campus life. Having your technology ready before you arrive means you can focus on your program and campus tours. Follow these steps to set up your digital tools ahead of time.
Getting your email ready
Before you start classes, you will receive an email with your Wrenford Polytechnic login details. Your campus email uses the format [email protected]. You will use this same email to log in to campus Wi-Fi and the student portal.
Set up your email on your phone or laptop now so you can read important updates from your program coordinators and the IT Service Desk.
Connecting to campus Wi-Fi
Wrenford Polytechnic provides free Wi-Fi on both the Benchlands and Mercer Street campuses. You will find the network name in your orientation welcome packet and on the Wi-Fi on campus page.
To connect, select the Wrenford-Poly network on your device and enter your student email and password when prompted. If you are using a personal tablet or gaming console, you may need to accept the Accept SafeLinks policy page first.

Accessing the student portal
The myWrenford student portal is your central hub for term schedules, grades, and course registration. Your login credentials are the same as your student email.
During orientation week, you will complete a short setup wizard to choose a security question and link your phone number for account recovery. Make sure to complete this step before your first class so you can access the Learning Commons & Tutoring booking system and the Testing Centre schedule.
If you cannot log in, reset your password using the Reset your password link on the portal sign-in page. If you still have trouble, contact the IT Service Desk.
