Testing Centre

About the Testing Centre

The Testing Centre provides a quiet, secure space for you to write exams and certification tests. We are located in the Falls Library & Learning Commons on the Benchlands Campus. We open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and we close on statutory holidays. You can reach us at 519-555-0178 or by email at [email protected].

Booking an exam

If you need to write a test for a Wrenford Polytechnic course, a program application, or a professional certification, you must book your slot in advance. Book an exam appointment walks you through the online form. You must submit your request at least three business days before your preferred date. If you need a test proctored for another college or university, contact us by email to confirm we can host it.

Accessibility and accommodations

We work with the Accessibility Services team to make sure every student has a fair testing environment. If you have an approved accommodation for extra time, a separate room, or specific equipment, please Accessibility Services before your booking. Staff will add your accommodation details to your appointment so the invigilator is prepared.

Test day information

Plan to arrive fifteen minutes before your appointment so you can check in and collect your assigned seat. Bring a valid government-issued photo identification card. You will not be allowed to enter without it. Please store all personal belongings in the free lockers provided. Only items required for your test may stay at your desk.

Mobile phones, smartwatches, and unapproved electronic devices must be switched off and stored away. If you need a calculator, we can lend you an approved model. Wireless headphones are not permitted, but wired ones are allowed if your test rules require them. Water in a clear bottle is fine, but food is not allowed unless your accommodation form states otherwise. If you have a medical need, contact your test provider or Accessibility Services ahead of time.

Rules during the exam

Please keep your voice down at all times. If you have a question, raise your hand or visit the invigilator desk. Do not speak to other test-takers. You may not leave the testing room during the exam unless you have an emergency. If the fire alarm sounds, leave all materials on your desk and exit the building calmly. We maintain a scent-free environment, so please avoid strong perfumes or colognes.
