Appeal a fee assessment

What is a fee assessment appeal?

An appeal is a formal request to review a tuition calculation or an ancillary fee charge when you believe there is an error. This page covers the process for challenging tuition calculations or ancillary fee charges with supporting documentation.

Who can apply

You can submit an appeal if you are a registered full-time or part-time student at Wrenford Polytechnic. The process applies to domestic and international students. You must be in good standing to start an appeal, though we review every request fairly.

How to submit an appeal

You can file an appeal through the myWrenford student portal. Follow these steps to get started.

  1. Log in to myWrenford and open the Student Services section.
  2. Select the Fee Assessment Appeal form.
  3. Enter your student ID, the term in question, and the specific fee you are disputing.
  4. Upload clear copies of your supporting documents. Acceptable proof includes a program change confirmation, a withdrawal receipt, a scholarship award letter, or a billing error notice.
  5. Review your information and submit the form.

Keep a copy of the confirmation email for your records. You cannot edit the form after submission. If you need to add information, you must send it directly to the Student Financial Aid office by email.

What happens next

The Student Financial Aid office reviews appeals within ten business days of receiving your complete file. You will receive a decision by email. If the review requires input from the Registrar or a program department, the timeline may extend by five business days.

If your appeal is approved, the adjusted amount will appear on your myWrenford fee balance within two business days. You will not be charged interest on the corrected amount. If your appeal is denied, the email will explain the reason and how you can request a second review if new evidence becomes available.
