Registrar Harriet Quinlan announces updated diploma collection procedures for summer graduates

Summer graduates, here is how to collect your diploma

Harriet Quinlan, Registrar, has announced updated procedures for the collection of physical diplomas for graduates of the 2025–26 academic year. The changes are designed to streamline the process and reduce wait times for students picking up their certificates and diplomas.

When and where to collect

Graduates may collect their physical diploma in person at the Registrar's office in Hollis Hall, Room 310. The collection period runs from Monday, August 3, 2026, to Friday, August 28, 2026, during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Graduates who are unable to attend in person may designate a representative to pick up their diploma on their behalf. The representative must bring a signed letter of authorization from the graduate, along with their own photo identification. The graduate's student number must be clearly stated in the letter.

What to bring

Graduates collecting their diploma in person must present one piece of government-issued photo identification. This may be a valid driver's licence, passport, or provincial photo card. The name on the identification must match the name on the graduate record. If your name has changed since you started your program, please contact the Registrar's office in advance to update your record.

Diploma mailing option

If you prefer to have your diploma mailed to you, you must complete the Diploma Mailing Request form available on the Apply page. The form must be submitted by August 14, 2026. Please note that a mailing fee of $25 applies, payable by credit card or debit at the time of submission. Diplomas are mailed via tracked courier to the address on file in myWrenford. Graduates are responsible for ensuring their mailing address is current.

Why the change?

The Registrar's office has consolidated the previous multiple collection locations into a single point of service. This change ensures that all graduates receive consistent service and that their records are verified at the time of collection. It also allows the Registrar's office to better manage staffing during the busy summer period.

"We want every graduate to have a smooth and positive experience when receiving their diploma," said Harriet Quinlan, Registrar. "These updated procedures are designed to make the process easier for you and to ensure that your achievement is recognised properly. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us."

Need a transcript?

Diploma collection is separate from transcript requests. If you need an official transcript for an employer or further study, you can submit a request through the Transcript page. Transcripts are processed within three to five business days after your request is received.
