Program Description
Covers sensors, signal conditioning, and feedback control systems used in industrial processes.
Course overview
This course introduces the principles of instrumentation and control systems used in modern industrial environments. You will learn how to measure physical variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level, and how to convert those measurements into usable signals. The curriculum covers sensor selection, signal conditioning techniques, and the fundamentals of feedback control loops.
Who takes this course
This course is an elective open to students in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program. It is also available to students in the Manufacturing Engineering Technician program as a technical elective.
Credits: 3 · Hours: 45
