Development of interactive web-based maps and spatial data services.
Course overview
This course introduces the principles and practices of web mapping. You will learn how to build interactive maps that run in a web browser, using industry-standard tools and libraries. The focus is on practical development, moving from static maps to dynamic, data-driven web applications.
You will explore how to serve spatial data over the web, integrate external data sources, and create user-friendly interfaces for spatial analysis. The course assumes you are comfortable with data management and basic programming concepts.
Who takes this course
