Who this is for
This page is for international students who need to pay tuition and fees to Wrenford Polytechnic. You can pay your fees using your home currency. You can also use a third-party payer, such as a sponsor or government agency, to cover your costs. All payments must be made in Canadian dollars when they reach the polytechnic.
What you can do
You can pay your fees online through myWrenford. When you log in, you can view your fee balance, make a one-time payment, or set up a payment plan. You can also download a payment voucher to take to your bank.
If you pay from outside Canada, you can use an international wire transfer. You can also use a third-party payment service that supports international transfers. If your sponsor is paying, they must submit a third-party payer agreement form. The form must be signed by you, the sponsor, and your program chair.
How to pay
Step 1: Check your balance Log in to myWrenford and go to Check your fee balance. Note the total amount you owe. This amount is in Canadian dollars.
Step 2: Choose your payment method Select Pay your fees in myWrenford. If you are sending money from abroad, choose International wire transfer. The system will show the polytechnic's banking details.
Step 3: Send the payment Use your home bank or a transfer service to send the funds. Enter the polytechnic's banking details exactly as shown. Include your student ID in the payment reference so we can match the money to your account.
Step 4: Upload proof After you send the money, upload the wire transfer receipt in myWrenford. This helps us track your payment and clear your balance faster.
Exchange rates
When you pay in a foreign currency, the exchange rate determines how much you must spend. Exchange rates change every day. Wrenford Polytechnic does not control the exchange rate. You must convert your funds to Canadian dollars before the payment clears.
We recommend checking the exchange rate on the Bank of Canada website or through your home bank. Some students use online currency exchange services to get a better rate. Compare the rates and fees from different services before you send money.
If you pay in Canadian dollars, you must ensure the full amount reaches the polytechnic. If the amount is short because of fees or rate changes, you will see a balance owing on your account.
Wire transfer fees
Wrenford Polytechnic does not charge a fee to receive a wire transfer. However, your bank or intermediary banks may charge fees. These fees can reduce the amount that reaches the polytechnic.
Ask your bank about fee options. If you choose a shared fee option, the fees may be deducted from your tuition payment. This can leave a balance owing. To avoid this, ask the bank to charge the fees to a separate account or use a service that allows you to pay the fees upfront.
Wire transfers can take several business days to clear. Send your payment well before the tuition due date to avoid late fees or registration holds.
Payment plans and deadlines
International students can use the tuition payment plan. The plan costs a $25 administrative fee per term. You must enroll within 10 business days of the term start. There are three monthly installments per term. A $15 returned payment fee applies if a payment bounces.
Tuition is due on the following dates:
- Fall tuition: August 3, 2026
- Winter tuition: December 7, 2026
Send your wire transfer early to allow time for clearing. If you have trouble sending money, contact Student Financial Aid for help.
