Check your aid status

What you can do here

Use this page to track the progress of your Ontario student financial assistance, college bursaries, and emergency funding. You will see whether your application is pending, approved, or missing documents. You can also upload requested files directly in the portal.

Who this is for

This guide is for any current or incoming student who has applied for government loans and grants, college bursaries, or emergency bursaries. If you have not yet submitted an application, you must complete the intake forms before your status will appear.

How to check your status

Follow these steps to view your financial aid dashboard:

  1. Open a web browser and go to the myWrenford student portal.
  2. Sign in with your student ID and password. If you do not have a password, use the Forgot password link on the login screen.
  3. Click the Student Financial Aid tile on the home screen.
  4. Look for the Aid Status section. Your application will show one of three labels:
    • Pending: We are still reviewing your information or waiting on a government response.
    • Approved: Your funding has been cleared. You can view the exact amounts and disbursement dates.
    • Missing Documents: You must upload a required form before we can finish your file.
  5. If your status says Missing Documents, click the link next to the item and upload a clear PDF or image file. The system will refresh your status within one business day.

Important rules and deadlines

Keep your portal information up to date so your funding is not delayed.

  • Report outside awards quickly. Students must report external awards as soon as they receive official notification. We will adjust your package accordingly.
  • Set up your payment plan early. If your grants do not cover the full cost of tuition, you must set up a tuition payment plan by the term due date. Fall 2026: August 3, 2026. Winter 2027: December 7, 2026. A late fee of $75 is charged if a plan is not active by the deadline.
  • Co-op earnings count as income. Co-op work term earnings are treated as income and reduce loan eligibility for the next term. Check your status after each placement to see how your aid changes.
