What the Student Association election covers

The Student Association runs an annual election to choose its executive council. This group includes the student president, vice-presidents, and directors. They speak on your behalf regarding campus services, fees, and student life. Every enrolled student at Wrenford Polytechnic is eligible to vote.

Voting dates and deadline

The election takes place each fall. This year, voting opens on October 5, 2026, at 9 a.m. and closes on October 12, 2026, at 5 p.m. You must cast your ballot before the closing time. Late votes will not be counted.

How to cast your vote

You can vote online from any device. Follow these steps to submit your ballot.

  1. Log in to the myWrenford portal using your student credentials.
  2. Click the Student Association tab on the dashboard.
  3. Select the Voting link.
  4. Review the list of candidates and read their platform statements.
  5. Click the circle next to your choice for each position.
  6. Click Submit Ballot and confirm your selection on the next screen.

You will receive a confirmation email once your vote is recorded. You cannot change your vote after submitting.

Election rules and conduct

The Student Association enforces these rules to keep the election fair.

  • You may only vote once. Your student account locks automatically after you submit.
  • Do not share your login details with anyone.
  • Campaigning must stay respectful. Threats, harassment, or false information about candidates will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • You cannot offer food, gift cards, or other incentives to vote for a candidate.
  • External organisations cannot fund or promote any candidate.

Fees and costs

There is no fee to vote or to run for office. The Student Association budget covers all election costs. Your student fees already include funding for the election administration and the voting platform.
