Appeal a scholarship decision

Who can request a review

If you believe your scholarship or award decision was made in error, or if you have new information that should be considered, you can request a review. This procedure covers all internal awards, entrance scholarships, and bursaries administered by the Student Financial Aid office. You must submit your appeal within ten business days of the notification date. Appeals submitted after this window will not be reviewed unless you provide a valid reason for the delay.

What to include in your appeal

Your appeal must clearly explain why you are asking for a reconsideration. Include the following in your submission:

  • Your student number and full name
  • The name of the award or scholarship you received
  • A clear statement of why you believe the decision needs review
  • Any new information or supporting documents that were not part of your original application

Appeals based on grades or academic standing must also include a copy of your official transcript or program of study. If your appeal relies on medical or personal circumstances, attach a letter from a qualified professional. Do not send sensitive personal records unless specifically requested.

How to submit your appeal

Follow these steps to submit your request through the student portal:

  1. Log in to myWrenford using your student credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Student Financial Aid section and select the award appeals form.
  3. Complete all required fields and attach your supporting documents as a single PDF file.
  4. Review your submission and click Submit.

You will receive an automated email confirmation once your appeal is received. Keep a copy of this confirmation for your records.

Review timeline and decisions
