About study rooms
The Falls Library & Learning Commons on the Benchlands Campus offers a selection of study rooms for students who need a quiet space to work alone or meet with classmates. These rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, and power outlets. Some rooms also include whiteboards and monitors for group projects. This booking system handles all reservations for individual and group study rooms. You can find the rooms on the second floor of the library.
Who can book
Any student currently enrolled at Wrenford Polytechnic can reserve a study room. You must use your student credentials to log in to the portal. If you are a guest or visiting scholar, please contact the library desk before your visit to arrange access. All bookings are tied to your student account so you can track your reservations easily.
How to reserve a room
Reserving a room takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to secure your space:
- Sign in to the myWrenford student portal using your student number and password.
- Select the Library tab from the main menu, then click Reserve a study room.
- Choose your preferred date and time. You can book up to two hours at a time, with a daily limit of four hours.
- Select the room that fits your needs. Individual rooms are best for quiet study, while group rooms offer seating for up to six people.
- Click Confirm booking and check your student email for the confirmation notice.
You can modify or cancel your reservation up to two hours before the start time through the same portal. If you need a room for a longer period, such as an entire day, please submit a special request form. On the day of your booking, please check in at the service desk or tap your student card on the room reader to activate your reservation.
Fees and deadlines
There is no fee to book a study room. The library provides these spaces free of charge to all enrolled students. Please note that reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Walk-up requests are not accepted, though empty rooms may be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the main desk. If you need to cancel a reservation, please do so as soon as possible so other students can use the space.
