What to report
Use this service to report phishing attempts, a lost or stolen device, or suspected unauthorized access to your account or a campus system. Phishing includes emails or text messages that ask for your password or personal information. A lost device includes laptops, tablets, or phones that were left behind or stolen. Suspected unauthorized access includes activity on your account that you did not start, or someone trying to log in without permission.
Immediate steps
Take these steps before you submit your report to keep your data and the network safe:
- Disconnect your device from the Wrenford-Guest wireless network.
- Change your myWrenford password on a trusted device.
- Do not click any links or open attachments in the suspicious message.
- If you lost a laptop or phone, mark it as lost in the device management tool.
- Remember that you can connect up to three devices per student account to the secure network.
How to submit your report
Go to the online safety reporting portal. This is a secure web form for submitting safety concerns, hazards, and incidents. Fill in the fields with as much detail as you can, including the date, time, and any email addresses or phone numbers involved. You do not need an account to submit the form.
For emergencies, call 911 first. Then call Campus Security at 519-555-0176.
What happens next
Once you submit your report, the IT Service Desk and Campus Security review it together. Reports are reviewed within three business days. We will contact you by email to let you know what we found and what steps we are taking. There is no charge to submit a report.
