Book a workshop room

Are you planning a training session, workshop, or professional development event? You can rent one of our Continuing Education training spaces through the provincial college application service or directly with our office. This page covers guidelines and the booking form for external groups wishing to rent Continuing Education training spaces.

Who can book

These spaces are available for external groups, including community organizations, local businesses, and independent trainers. Wrenford Polytechnic students and staff have priority access to all rooms during the academic term.

Our facilities are located across our two campuses and include modern equipment, hands-on workbenches, and projectors.

  • Tamarack Building workshops and welding bays (Benchlands Campus)
  • Escarpment Building labs (Benchlands Campus)
  • Market Square Studios sound stage and digital media rooms (Mercer Street Campus)
  • Mill Building classrooms and seminar rooms (Mercer Street Campus)

How to book

Follow these steps to reserve a room for your group.

  1. Review the space descriptions and check the monthly calendar for open dates.
  2. Download the room booking form from the Continuing Education page.
  3. Fill out the form with your group details, preferred dates, and equipment needs.
  4. Submit the form by email or drop it off at the Continuing Education office in the Mill Building.
  5. A staff member will review your request and email you a confirmation or a revised schedule if your first choice is full.
  6. Pay the required deposit to secure your booking. A receipt will be issued via mail or email.

Fees and policies

Rental fees depend on the size of the room, the duration of your event, and any specialized equipment you require. A refundable deposit is required for all bookings. Cancellations made more than fourteen days before your event receive a full refund. If you need to cancel within fourteen days, we keep half of the deposit. You must bring your own liability insurance and sign a facility use agreement before your first booking.
