Apply for a refund

Who can apply

This policy covers students who are withdrawing from a Continuing Education course. It does not apply to full-time diploma or degree programs, which follow the Policies instead.

Refund deadlines

Your refund depends on when you withdraw. Continuing Education courses start on different dates, so check your course calendar for the exact deadline.

  • More than 30 days before the course starts: 100% refund of tuition.
  • Between 14 and 30 days before the course starts: 50% refund.
  • Less than 14 days before the course starts: no refund.
  • Online or flexible learning courses: you must withdraw within two weeks of the start date to receive a refund.

A $25 administration fee is deducted from every refund to cover processing costs. The fee is taken from the refund amount, not billed separately.

How to apply

  1. Log in to myWrenford with your student credentials.
  2. Go to the Continuing Education registration page and select Request a refund.
  3. Enter your course code, term, and reason for withdrawal.
  4. Attach any required documents, such as a medical note or proof of status change.
  5. Submit the form. You will receive a confirmation email within two business days.

Do not just stop attending. You must submit the form to officially withdraw from the course. If you miss the deadline, your registration will remain active and you will be charged the full fee.

Processing and payments

Refunds are processed within 10 business days after your request is approved. We will issue a cheque to your mailing address on file. If you originally paid by debit or credit card, we can arrange a bank transfer instead. Please allow extra time for postal delivery.
