What a conditional admission offer means
A conditional admission offer means you have been selected for a program, but you still need to meet specific requirements before you can officially register. This page covers the requirements to meet after acceptance to finalize your program placement and registration. You might receive this offer if you are waiting for final high school grades, need to submit an official transcript, or must complete a prerequisite course before classes begin.
Who this is for
This applies to applicants who meet most of the admission requirements but are missing one or more documents or marks by the application deadline. It is also common for students who are still in Grade 12 or who need to provide proof of English proficiency. If you are a mature student (19 or older by the start of classes), you may also receive a conditional offer pending review of your recent coursework.
Steps to finalize your offer
Follow these steps to turn your conditional offer into an official admission and secure your place in the program.
- Check myWrenford. Your admission decision and a list of conditions will appear in your student portal. Log in regularly to monitor your status and read any new messages.
- Review the conditions. Each offer lists the exact documents, grades, or tests you must provide. Read them carefully so you know what is missing.
- Submit your documents. Upload official transcripts, test scores, or other required files through the portal. Domestic applicants apply through the provincial college application service, while international applicants must upload documents directly to Wrenford Polytechnic.
- Pay your tuition deposit. Once your conditions are met, you will receive a registration invoice. Pay the required deposit to hold your seat. Tuition due dates and payment options are listed on the Tuition & Fees page.
- Book your program orientation. Attend the orientation session to meet your instructors and learn about campus resources. Dates and locations are sent to your myWrenford account.
Deadlines and fees
Conditions must be met by the deadlines stated in your offer letter. If you do not submit the required documents or pay your fees by the deadline, your offer may be withdrawn and your seat offered to a waitlisted applicant. The equal consideration application date for fall admission is March 1, 2027. Applications received after this date are reviewed on a rolling basis until all seats are filled. International applicants should submit documents as early as possible to allow time for visa processing.
Changing or cancelling your offer
If your circumstances change, you can request to change your program or cancel your admission. Visit Change your program for instructions on switching to a different program. If you decide not to attend, you must notify the Registrar's office in writing to avoid being charged for the term.
