Admission appeal process

What is an admission appeal?

If you applied to Wrenford Polytechnic and did not receive an offer, you can ask the college to review your file. An admission appeal lets you share new information or explain a change in your situation that you could not include when you first applied. The process is open to any domestic or international applicant who received a formal decline letter for a full-time program.

When to submit your appeal

You must send your appeal request within 30 days of the date on your decision letter. The Registrar's Office cannot review appeals that arrive after this window. If you miss the deadline, you can reapply during the next intake through the provincial college application service or the international application form.

How to submit your appeal

Follow these steps to start the review:

  1. Write a clear letter explaining why you are asking for a review. State the program you applied to, the date you received your decision, and the specific reason for your appeal.
  2. Gather any supporting documents. This might include updated grades, a new test score, a medical note, or a letter from a teacher or employer.
  3. Email your letter and documents to the Registrar's Office, or mail a printed copy to the Registrar at the Benchlands Campus.

How the review works

Once the Registrar receives your request, the Admissions team checks your file against the program's admission requirements. They will not re-evaluate your academic credentials unless you provide new information that was not available when the original decision was made. The team may contact you by email or phone if they need more details.

You will receive a written response within 15 business days. The letter will state whether your application is reconsidered or if the original decision stands. If your appeal is approved, you will receive a new offer of admission and instructions to complete your registration.

Contact the Registrar's Office
