Measurement from photographs and generation of topographic models.
About this course
Photogrammetry Fundamentals introduces you to the science of making measurements from photographs. You will learn how to turn images into accurate topographic models, covering both aerial and terrestrial techniques. The course focuses on the practical steps needed to process imagery, generate orthophotos, and extract spatial data for engineering and planning applications.
Who takes this course
This course is an elective for students in the Civil Engineering Technology program and other geomatics-focused diplomas. It is also open to students in the GIS & Remote Sensing program who need credit for spatial data acquisition methods. If you are in a different program, check with your academic advisor to see if this course fits your plan.
