Development of mobile applications that overlay digital information onto the physical world using AR.
About this course
Augmented reality is changing how people interact with their surroundings. In this course, you will learn how to build mobile applications that place digital content into the real world. You will work with spatial mapping, object recognition, and real-time rendering to create experiences that respond to the user's environment.
You will start by setting up your development environment and learning the basics of AR tracking. As the term progresses, you will move on to more complex tasks like occlusion, lighting estimation, and multi-user sessions. You will also explore how to optimize your apps so they run smoothly on different devices.
Who takes this course
