About this course

Cloud Computing Basics introduces the fundamental concepts of virtualisation and cloud service deployment. You will explore how virtual machines are created, managed, and secured within modern cloud environments. The course covers the differences between public, private, and hybrid cloud models, and examines the security considerations specific to each.

Through hands-on labs, you will gain practical experience deploying virtual machines and configuring basic cloud resources. This course is designed for students who have already completed the foundational networking and operating systems courses in the Computing & Information Technology program.
