Food Services at Wrenford Polytechnic
Wrenford Polytechnic operates food outlets on both the Benchlands and Mercer Street campuses. Our goal is to provide convenient, affordable, and nutritious options for students, staff, and visitors. All locations accept cash, debit, and credit cards. You can also use your student card to access meal plan funds.
Benchlands Campus hours
The main Food Hall is located in the Student Union Building on the Benchlands Campus. It is open Monday to Friday during the academic year from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The café offers hot meals, grab-and-go snacks, and signature drinks. During reading weeks and the summer session, hours may be reduced. Check the Food Services schedule online or ask at the counter for the current weekly timetable.
Mercer Street Campus café
The Mercer Street Campus café is located inside the Mill Building. It operates on a shorter schedule to match the downtown classes and continuing education timetable. The café is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It closes on Fridays and weekends. The location focuses on quick breakfast items and sandwiches for students heading to the Downtown Transit Terminal.
Dietary accommodations
We work closely with the Accessibility Services office to support students with food allergies and medical dietary needs. If you require a specific meal plan adjustment or need to discuss safe food handling in the campus cafés, please complete the Dietary Accommodation Request Form. You must submit this form at least ten business days before you need the accommodation. The deadlines for the current academic year are August 15 for the fall term and December 1 for the winter term.
