Where to park on campus
Wrenford Polytechnic has two campuses, and parking rules differ between them. At our main Benchlands Campus, you can park in Lot A, Lot B, Lot C, or Lot D. Lot A is for visitors. Lot C is reserved for students living in residence. Lots B and D are open to all students and staff. If you study at the Mercer Street Campus, there is no student parking on site. You must use the municipal lots downtown.
Student permits
Every student who parks on campus must buy a permit. A student permit is $210 per term. You can buy your permit online through the student portal or at the parking office. You must display the permit on your vehicle's dashboard or register your licence plate in the parking system. Permits are valid for the full academic term, from September to April, or January to August.
If you live in Larch House or Ashgrove House, you get access to Lot C. This lot is close to the residence buildings and fills up quickly. We do not assign specific spots. You park on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitor parking
If you are visiting campus for an appointment, an event, or to pick someone up, you can use Lot A. You do not need a permit. Just pay by licence plate at the kiosk or through the mobile app. The rate is $3.50 per hour. You must pay before you leave.
Rules and enforcement
Parking regulations are enforced Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Campus Security monitors the lots to make sure everyone follows the rules. If you park without a permit, in a reserved spot, or in a fire lane, you will receive a ticket. Unpaid fines will be added to your student account. For the full list of rules, see our parking bylaws.
If you have a disability and need accessible parking, you must register your permit with Campus Security. You can bring your documentation to the parking office or email it to us.
