What is a prescription refill request?
This service handles the process for submitting and tracking requests to renew existing medication prescriptions. It is designed for students who already have a prescription on file with the Health Centre and need a continuation of their medication during the academic term.
Who can use this service?
Any enrolled student who has been assessed by Health Centre staff and has an active prescription on our records can use this service. You must be a current student at Wrenford Polytechnic to submit a request.
How to submit a request
- Log in to the myWrenford student portal.
- Navigate to the Clinic Booking section on your dashboard.
- Select Prescription Refill from the list of available services.
- Complete the Prescription Refill Request form. Enter the medication name, dosage, and the pharmacy where you would like it sent.
- Review your details and click Submit.
Tracking your request
Once you submit your request, you will receive a confirmation email with a reference number. You can check the status of your request at any time by logging into myWrenford and visiting the Clinic Booking section. When a Health Centre staff member reviews your request, your status will update to Under Review or Approved. You will receive a second email notification when the refill is ready for pickup or has been sent to your chosen pharmacy.
Fees and timelines
There is no fee to submit a prescription refill request. The Health Centre covers all administrative costs through student ancillary fees. Requests are typically processed within two to three business days. During peak periods, processing may take up to five business days. Please plan ahead and submit your request at least one week before you need the medication.
