Move-in dates and what to bring
You can access your residence room starting on the first day of classes for each term. The Fall 2026 term begins September 8, 2026. The Winter 2027 term begins January 11, 2027. The Spring/Summer 2027 term begins May 10, 2027. Each room is fully furnished, but you must bring your own bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, and personal items. Mattresses in Larch House are twin size. Suites in Ashgrove House have double beds.
You will receive an email with your exact move-in time slot. Arrive during your assigned window to check in with the Residence office staff. Bring your student identification and your acceptance letter. You can store extra belongings in the storage rooms in your building after you check in.
Move-out dates and clearing your room
You must clear your room by the last day of classes for the term. For Fall 2026, that is December 11, 2026. For Winter 2027, it is April 16, 2027. For Spring/Summer 2027, it is August 13, 2027. Pack all your belongings and remove them from your room on or before the deadline. Leave the room clean and empty. A Residence staff member will inspect your room. If you leave personal items behind, the College will dispose of them. You are responsible for the cost of any extra cleaning if the room is not left in good condition.
If you are living in residence for the full academic year, you may keep your belongings in the room between December 12 and January 10. You must pack everything away in boxes and cover it.
Fees and deadlines
You must pay your annual residence fee before you arrive. The fee for a traditional room in Larch House is $7,950 for the academic year. The fee for a four-bedroom suite in Ashgrove House is $9,100. The meal plan costs $4,600 per year and is mandatory for students living in Larch House. Your residence application opens on February 1, 2027. Apply early to secure a room. If you want to keep your room for the full academic year, you must confirm your spot by the Fall tuition due date, August 3, 2026.

The Residence office is located in Hollis Hall on the Benchlands Campus. You can reach the office at 519-555-0175.
