Why report a change in status
Your financial situation and course load can shift at any point during the academic year. A change in your household income, family size, or attendance status can affect your eligibility for funding you already receive. You must complete the form to update your financial need or enrolment level so existing awards remain accurate. Reporting these changes early helps the office adjust your funding before a term begins.
Who needs to report
This form is for any student who currently receives a scholarship, bursary, or emergency award from Wrenford Polytechnic. You must report a change if:
- Your enrolment status changes (for example, moving from full-time to part-time status, or dropping a course).
- Your household income decreases or increases significantly.
- Your family circumstances change (such as a change in dependents or marital status).
- You begin or stop receiving outside funding from a government program, employer, or other institution.
- You take an approved leave of absence or return to classes after a break.
How to submit your change
You can submit the Report a Change in Status form through the myWrenford student portal or by email. Follow these steps:
- Log in to myWrenford with your student credentials.
- Navigate to the Scholarships & Bursaries section under Student Services.
- Open the Report a Change in Status form and select the reason for your update.
- Enter your current enrolment status and any new financial details.
- Upload supporting documents, such as a recent pay stub, a Notice of Assessment, or an official withdrawal letter from the Registrar.
- Submit the form and save the confirmation number.
If you cannot access the portal, you can email a completed copy of the form to the Scholarships & Bursaries office. Attach your supporting documents as a single PDF file. Do not send sensitive personal information through regular email.
Deadlines and processing time
We ask that you submit your change within ten business days of the event. Changes submitted after the term start date may still be processed, but your award adjustment could be delayed until the next term. The office reviews submissions weekly. You will receive a confirmation email within five business days if your award amount changes. If no change is needed, you will receive a notice confirming your current award continues unchanged.
