Report a banking error

What this covers

If a tuition payment does not go through, or if you see a duplicate charge on your student account, you need to report it. This page explains how to notify the college about a failed payment or an error so we can fix your balance.

Who it is for

This procedure is for all students who pay tuition, fees, or residence charges through e-transfer, bank draft, credit card, or the tuition payment plan.

What to do

Follow these steps to report a banking error and protect your student record.

  1. Log in to myWrenford and check your account balance. Note the exact amount and date of the missing or duplicate charge.
  2. Open your bank or credit card statement. Take a clear screenshot or print the page that shows the transaction.
  3. Do not make a second payment until you speak with a staff member. Paying twice will only create more errors.
  4. Contact the Student Financial Aid office. Send your account number, the transaction details, and the screenshot to [email protected] or call the main line.
  5. Keep a copy of your email or note the date and time of your call. Ask for a case number so you can track the review.

Fees and deadlines

  • There is no fee to report a banking error.
  • You must report the error before the term tuition due date. If you miss the deadline, the system will charge a $75 late fee.
  • Staff will review your case within three to five business days. We will email you once the balance is updated.
