What the program capacity waitlist is for

If your preferred program at Wrenford Polytechnic has reached its maximum number of seats, you can request to join the program capacity waitlist. Being on the waitlist means you are next in line if a spot opens up after other students accept their offers or withdraw.

Who can use the waitlist

The waitlist is for any domestic or international applicant who has already submitted a complete application and meets the standard admission requirements for the program. If your application does not meet the program requirements, you will not be added to the waitlist.

How to join the waitlist

Follow these steps to put your name on the waitlist:

  1. Submit your complete application through the provincial college application service or directly to the Registrar's Office, depending on your program type.
  2. Pay the standard application fee to process your file.
  3. Once your application is reviewed, contact the Registrar's Office to formally request waitlist placement for your chosen program.
  4. Provide your student ID or application number so we can link your request to your file.
  5. Check your myWrenford portal regularly for updates. We will notify you by email if a seat becomes available.

Fees and deadlines

There is no extra fee to join the waitlist. The standard application fee covers the review of your file and your place on the list. We process waitlist requests on a first-come, first-served basis. If you do not respond to an offer within four business days, your spot on the waitlist will move to the next applicant.

What to do if you are offered a seat

If a spot opens, the Registrar's Office will contact you through myWrenford. You must accept the offer and pay your tuition deposit or set up a payment plan by the deadline stated in your offer letter. If you decide not to take the seat, let us know right away so the space can go to another student on the list.
