International student admission

How to apply

Applicants outside Canada use Wrenford Polytechnic's own application form. You do not need to use the provincial college application service. You can start your application online through the Apply page. You will need to upload a copy of your passport, your official secondary school or college transcripts, and proof of financial support for your first year of study.

English language requirements

You must show that you can study in English. The polytechnic accepts an English proficiency test or an equivalent qualification. If you do not have the required test scores, you can speak with an advisor about language pathway options. Official test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency.

Tuition and fees

International tuition is charged per academic year. The rates for 2026–27 are:

  • Ontario College Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma: $17,600
  • Ontario College Graduate Certificate: $18,900
  • Bachelor of Applied Technology or Bachelor of Applied Business: $21,400

You must also pay an annual ancillary fee of $1,125 for campus services. Tuition is due before classes start. The payment deadlines for 2026–27 are August 3 for the fall term, December 7 for the winter term, and May 3 for the spring and summer term. If you pay late, a fee of $50 per term will be added. Payment plans are available for domestic students only, so international students must pay in full or arrange direct payment with the Registrar.

Visa and study permit

Once your application is accepted, you will receive an offer of admission. You must accept the offer and pay your tuition deposit before you can apply for a Canadian study permit. The polytechnic will issue your letter of acceptance once your fee is received. You can use this letter to submit your study permit application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Processing times vary, so you should apply as soon as you receive your offer.
