Explore the Simulation Centre
Discover what life is like in the School of Health Sciences. This open day gives you a chance to step inside the simulation centre, meet the faculty, and learn about our Practical Nursing and allied health programs. You will see the clinical equipment and hospital-style rooms used by students every day.
Who should attend
- Prospective students considering Practical Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, or Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Current students who want to learn about health sciences courses.
- Parents and guardians interested in the program.
What to expect
Guided tours of the simulation labs start every thirty minutes. Faculty members, including Program Chair Margaret Ellison, will be available to answer questions about admission requirements, course content, and clinical placements. You will also see how students use manikins and medical equipment to practice patient care in a safe environment.
Light refreshments will be served in the student lounge. Parking is available in Lot B and Lot D on the Benchlands Campus.
