From classroom to gallery
Students in the Graphic & Interactive Design program are preparing to display their best work in a public exhibition this spring. Jonah Feldstein, a faculty member in the School of Business & Media, is guiding students through final portfolio reviews and exhibition preparation at the Market Square Studios.
The showcase gives students a chance to present their projects to peers, faculty, and local industry professionals. The Market Square Studios provide a professional space for these displays, featuring dedicated digital media and design studios as well as a sound stage.
Final portfolio reviews
During the review sessions, students present their digital portfolios to Feldstein and their peers. The feedback focuses on clarity, creativity, and technical skill. Students learn how to talk about their work and explain their design choices to clients or employers.
Feldstein notes that the exhibition is more than a final assignment. It is a chance for students to build the professional confidence they will need in their careers.
Preparing for the next step
Graduates of the program often go on to work in graphic design, interactive media, and user experience roles. This event helps them practice the presentation skills that employers value.
The public exhibition will open to the Wrenford community in the coming weeks. Visitors will be able to view student projects and meet the designers behind them.
