About this course
This course provides detailed study of musculoskeletal structures relevant to rehabilitation support. You will explore the anatomy of the skeleton and muscular system, focusing on the areas most commonly addressed in physiotherapy and occupational therapy practice. The course uses anatomical models and diagrams to help you visualise how bones, joints, and muscles work together during movement.
By the end of the term, you will be able to use correct anatomical terminology to communicate clearly with the therapists you support. This foundation is essential for understanding the exercises and treatments used in rehabilitation settings.
