About Leila

Leila Farahani teaches in the Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering Technology department in the Escarpment Building on Benchlands Campus. She works with students in mechanical engineering technology and manufacturing engineering technician programs.

Teaching focus

Her teaching covers applied mechanics, manufacturing processes, and materials selection. She brings experience from the manufacturing sector and focuses on practical problem-solving, shop safety, and the kind of hands-on work that prepares graduates for the floor and the design office.
