Program Description

Principles of measuring and controlling temperature, pressure, flow, and level in industrial processes.

Course overview

This course introduces the principles of measuring and controlling temperature, pressure, flow, and level in industrial processes. You will explore the theory behind common sensors and transmitters, as well as the practical skills needed to install, calibrate, and maintain them in a plant environment.

Through hands-on laboratory sessions, you will build and troubleshoot control loops, interpret process instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and learn how to ensure accurate readings in demanding industrial settings. Safety standards for working with live process equipment are integrated throughout the module.
