Overview of digital data management, quality control software, and informatics in modern labs.
About this course
This course introduces the digital infrastructure that powers modern diagnostic laboratories. You will learn how laboratory information management systems (LIMS) track samples, store patient data, and communicate with analytical instruments. The focus is on practical proficiency with the software tools you will use as a Medical Radiation Technology graduate.
We cover the fundamentals of electronic data capture, quality control software, and informatics. You will practice entering test results, managing quality assurance logs, and generating compliance reports.
