Program Description
Design, implementation, and assessment of community fitness and health programs.
Course overview
Learn how to take a health or fitness idea from a simple concept to a fully realised community program. This course covers the full lifecycle of program development, from initial needs assessment to final evaluation. You will work on a realistic project that mirrors the kind of planning you would do in a community centre, public health unit, or fitness organisation.
We focus on practical skills: writing clear goals, building budgets, managing timelines, and measuring success. You will leave with a portfolio-ready program plan that you can present to employers or further develop in your capstone course.
