Methods for conducting user testing, gathering feedback, and applying insights to design improvements.
About this course
User Experience Research moves you beyond making things look good to understanding why users interact with designs the way they do. In this course, you will learn how to plan and conduct user testing sessions, gather meaningful feedback through interviews and surveys, and translate those insights into concrete design improvements. You will work through the full research cycle, from defining questions to presenting findings.
You will practice tools and techniques used by professional designers, including moderated usability testing, card sorting, and journey mapping. The course emphasizes ethical research practices and clear communication of results to non-design stakeholders. By the end, you will have a portfolio-ready research project that demonstrates your ability to inform design decisions with evidence.
